All-Black Squash Team from Harlem Makes History

Squash is often associated with private clubs, expensive private schools and elite universities. This is the first time an all-Black team will participate at U.S. High School Squash Nationals. Previously, students at StreetSquash were unable to compete at the U.S. Squash High School Team Nationals because all StreetSquash has students from a variety of different schools in Harlem.

187 varsity high school squash teams featuring more than 1,600 players will contest the world’s largest squash tournament–the 2023 U.S. High School Championships–February 24-26, 2023 in Philadelphia
