Shipping and Fulfillment

Short Answer

Excluding holiday periods, orders can take between 2 and 12 days before it is shipped. Orders can then take between 2 days and four weeks for delivery depending on the product and where it is being shipped from/to.

Long Answer

There are three to four main steps in getting your order to you once we have processed your order and these are:

  • Processing custom design files (only for personalized or custom orders)
  • Fulfillment
  • Packaging
  • Shipping

Processing Design Files

Orders that have no customizations are processed automatically through our system to ensure our suppliers get your order request as soon as possible.

Orders that have customizations require some work on our end that we can only do manually which includes reviewing the mockup and your design file, and then placing the order manually with our supplier(s).

Fulfillment

Fulfillment refers to the stage where your items are processed by our suppliers and made to order. In some cases this involves selecting a premade item or sewing your item to order and then having it etched, embroidered or printed.

Making products to order allowing us to keep inventory down and pass on savings to you. Typically an order can take between 2 and 12 days before it is shipped. This will depend on which product you order, the availability of product and how busy they are.

Holiday periods

Typically there is a much greater demand around holiday periods, particularly in December. Please plan early ordering around holiday seasons. Where possible we will post order deadline dates and do our best to deliver the products before critical dates, however unforeseen circumstances beyond our control may occur and therefore we cannot guarantee delivery dates. Where possible we will communicate any changes to you.

Shipping

The cost to ship has been continually increasing in response to inflation and the various conditions in the world. Wherever possible we choose the most economical shipping to keep costs down.

Depending on your order, CourtBound.com and our supplier partners may ship to your location from a variety of locations depending on where they are are produced, stock levels and where the order destination. With items that are produced in more than one country, we always try to ship from the country closest to where it is being shipped to.

If you order more than one product, they may come from different countries or by different delivery and will be shipped as they become available by our suppliers.

Where our products are usually produced

  • Typically, our moisture-wicking sportswear is printed in and shipped from the USA. For Canadians, we wish it otherwise, but currently there are no suppliers in Canada doing what our American supplier does so well and for the cost.
  • Our non-customizable t-shirts are produced in Canada.
  • Our customizable t-shirts are produced by a company that produces in 33 different countries. Where possible, your order will be made and ship from in the country your order is being shipped to, provided the base product is in stock. If the product is out of stock in one locale, our supplier will choose the fastest alternative.
  • Other products may ship from either canada or USA depending on what is closest or will arrive faster to the destination.

Customs and Duty Fees

Customs and duty fees are imposed by the destination country, not us. These fees are above and beyond your order amount one one or more of your order items. Unfortunately this is beyond our control as it is imposed by the destination country on shipments coming into the country.

Customs can hold packages for awhile so potentially your package may also take awhile to arrive.

Wherever possible our suppliers will try to product your order in the country that your order is being shipped to (or the closest one). But this is not always possible if a distribution centre has temporarily run out of stock.

Delivery Dates

We pride ourselves on being a niche brand that catering to a special audience. Because of this all your orders are custom made especially for you. They will take longer than your off-the-shelf brands and big conglomerate e-commerce organizations.

Depending on the product and the destination country, shipping can take anywhere from a week to four weeks.

Where possible choose products that are produced in the country you are shipping to. This prevents multiple shipping handoffs and delays with packages being stopped in customs. You can what country the product ships from in the Additional Information tab in each product listing.

However, as we do not print or ship any products ourselves, we are unable to guarantee delivery dates due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Wherever possible we will communicate any delays as they become known to us to you by email. Please whitelist emails from our domain courtbound.com so our emails don’t end up in your spam or junk folders.

Potential reasons for Delays

We use the latest web technologies to ensure the process at CourtBound.com is as speedy as possible. In addition, we choose experienced suppliers. Excluding customized or personalized orders, orders are sent within minutes of your order being processed.

However we can’t guarantee delivery dates and occasionally shipments may get delayed. Here are some of the reasons why.

  • Backlogs of orders our suppliers have to get through
  • Stock shortages
  • Reprints due to Quality Control
  • Delays with shipping due to holidays in different countries
  • Weather interferences
  • Your order may get caught in customs and customs may hold onto the package and the items shipping from that country may take a while to arrive.
  • Technical issues
  • Potential for human errors along the way. Darn, none of us are perfect!
