Crack Shot: Short Film

If you are a squash enthusiast you are bound to enjoy this short fictional film about a troubled former junior champion who has a complex relationship with the game. According to Rob Munday’s interview with Alex Cohen, the filmmaker, Alex states, “The game is a beautiful, brutal, and loud dance, and I wanted to show that as accurately as possible and with dramatic stakes that match what it really feels like to play”.

What is great about this short film is that the actors in this beautifully shot film actually know how to play squash. But you don’t need to know how to play squash to understand and experience the basic themes of the film.
