Description
We are happy to introduce the new PXT Incognito for 2020-2021 season. The frame is exactly the same as the previous 2017 model with the only difference being the lack of the black matte paint which resulted in 5 g lighter weight and 5 mm more head light balance.
Can the lack of something be a good thing? Perhaps, it can apply to the Incognito series where we use the “Prepreg” technology to make powerful and manoeuvrable racquets while ensuring the consistency of the specifications for the whole batch.
The new PXT Incognito features the same “raw carbon” finish as the Onyx Incognito and the Obsidian Incognito.
Let us tell you a little bit more about the construction and technology behind the original PXT Incognito (2017).
The mold is exactly the same as our PXT 110/115, but the construction is not.
The racquet is made of 100% Toray Japan carbon fiber using prepreg technology.
Prepreg is a composite material in which a reinforcement fiber is pre-impregnated with resin in a specific ratio. This allows for direct laying into a mold without having to add resin. Every racquet has the same ratio of resin with no excess or dry spots. Uniform thickness allows for all racquets to be almost identical, with the same weight and balance as per advertised specifications.
What makes PXT Incognito unique is that it’s a consistently excellent racquet with consistent weight and balance for every racquet, not to mention a large sweet spot, effortless power and a sleek design.
When doing research we could not find any other squash racquet on the market made of 100% Japanese carbon fiber using prepreg technology and we are still not sure as to why.
Perhaps the racquet doesn’t need to be made out of such premium materials and it’s hard to justify the higher manufacturing cost which is almost twice as much as for standard racquets?

Love this racquet. This was the racquet that got me to promote Xamsa. I initially tried it out as a practice racquet, thinking that a lighter racquet than the one I was using would force me to improve my technique to generate more power. But not only does this racquet have way more power than I expected but the fact that it was so light helped me get my racquet up faster, and it allowed me to more easily whip the racquet around for those difficult back corner shots. Love the strongs, too. Haven’t looked back since.
